2014    Certified as AEO Customs Broker by Yokohama Customs

1992     Rebuilt the head office building in Naka ward, Yokohama.                     Acquired a license from the Ministry of Transport for oceangoing freight service                      based o freight shipping service

1991    The Izutacho warehouse office was demolished and a new office built.                     Warehousing license acquired.                     New warehouse built at Daikoku wharf.                     Demonished old office buildings at the Chiba branch office and the Land Transport                     Office, and constructed new buildings.

1989    Loaded optical seabed cable for the North Pacific Cable.

1986    Tokyo branch built in Kanda ward, Tokyo.

1982    Transferred the Kawasaki sales office to the Narashino sales office in Akanehama,                     Narashino, Chiba prefecture.                     Loaded the seabed cable for trilateral Linkage between Thailand, Malaysia and                      Shingapore, and supervised reloading in the field.

1980    Deliverd medical equipment imported from Siemens of West Germany to hospitals                     affiliated with national universities.

1977    Built the NO.2 Tokyo sales office in Kanda, Chiyoda ward, Tokyo.

1969     Contracted to conduct customs clearance, loading and shipping of seabed cable.                    Requested to assist in seabed laying etc., Hayakawa staff worked on board the KDD Maru                     for each construction task.                    Loaded the cable for the Trans-Sea of Japan Seabed Cable                    (between Nakhodka and Naoetsu).

1968      Shibamata sales office built in Katsushika ward, Tokyo.

1966      Izutacho No.1 and No.2 warehouses in Izutacho, Kanagawa ward, Yokohama                       licensed as bounded warehouses.

1965      Izutacho No.2 warehouse constructed in Izutacho, Kanagawa ward, Yokohama.                     Acquired license for Chiba port and coastal cargo handling from Kanto                      District Land Transport Bureau.

1962    Chiba branch office and warehouse built in Ichihara, Chiba prefecture.

1957    Head office building built in Honcho, Chuo ward, Yokohama.

1947    Carried and laid the Akashi-Awaji island seabed cable.

1943     Moved from private management to a joint stock company,                      becoming Hayakawa Transport K.K.

1937    Loaded the seabed cable for the Korea Strait.

1926    License for freight customs clearanced. Customs clearance department opened.


1922    Import of construction machinery and other materials.

IN 1963 WE HAVE RECEIVED LOADING OF ALL ]TRANSPACIFIC SUBMARINE CABLE BY KDD. SINCE THEN WE HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO MANY SUBMARINE CABLE PROJECTS AROUND THE WORLD  AND BECAME TO KNOWN AS OLD HOUSE OF CABLE TRANSPORTATION

1885             Regard Hisazou Hayakawa, the first generation in the business,                      founded Hayakawa Shipping and importing and exporting copper bullion.
